Easter Shopping

As a family run business we will be taking a short break from April 4th to April 14th 2022.

Orders placed after 12pm on the April 4th will be shipped on reopening April 14th 2022.

Christmas Shopping

Christmas is the busiest time of the year, to ensure your delivery arrives in time for Christmas we would advise customers to order early to avoid the rush. 

We do everything possible to ensure that packages reach our customers before Christmas. Based on the advice of Norwegian carriers the last day to order in time for Christmas within Norway is the 17th of December. Purchases made after that date will be shipped at the earliest opportunity but are unlikely to arrive before Christmas.

The Christmas deadline for International orders is the 6th of December, however due to the current situation we cannot guarantee arrival times. We are doing everything possible to ensure orders arrive on time, but some international deliveries may be delayed due to local government restrictions.

Orders placed during the Christmas period between Monday 23 December to Friday 3 January inclusive, may be affected by bank holidays.

COVID-19 Information

Our team is working hard to get deliveries out to you as quickly as possible. Once they are dispatched, there may be delays with couriers depending on your location and severity of the virus at that time. Some locations may be significantly affected. We would advise that you allow more time for your order to arrive than normal. 


Shipping within Norway

North Eco Store orders are processed Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) and are shipped within 1-3 business days. The shipping options available to you will be presented at the checkout. Depending on your location we also offer free delivery above a certain threshold. You will receive a confirmation email from us once the order has been sent.

* Delivery information does not apply to Svalbard or remote areas, for destinations like these please contact us before placing an order and we will find the best solution for you. 

Complimentary shipping

We are pleased to offer complimentary shipping on orders over NOK 500 to mainland Norway.

Fixed rate NOK 69 shipping / Mailbox parcel  (tracked)

Where packages are small and light this option will be presented to you at the checkout. We choose not to use the 'bag at the door' option due to the unnecessary use of plastic. If the package doesn't fit in your mailbox it can be collected at your local collection point. 

Fixed rate NOK 99 / Post Office collection (tracked)

Available for both lighter and heavier shipments (Max 35kg). You will receive a notification when the package arrives at your local collection point.

*Please note any uncollected packages returned to us will be charged return delivery, we will contact you if this happens and try to resolve any issues.

Shipping Internationally

We ship to many countries worldwide, at the checkout please fill out your address and the shipping options will calculate automatically. All international purchases will be processed and shipped within 3 days of order. North Eco Store will provide tracking numbers for most packages, however we cannot be held responsible for lost packages. 

Orders are shipped from Norway so import duties may apply. These charges, if any, will be collected from local customs at the time of delivery. Please note that we are not responsible for items being held at customs. 

Due to the current limitations we can't include all shipping destinations, however our information is regularly updated and if we don't ship to your country currently please check back at a later time.

Please ensure that the address is correct and complete as North Eco Store is not liable for additional shipping costs required to resend the order. Where we can we will do our best to draw attention to any mistakes we notice and correct the information before we ship your order.

Please note - we are unable to deliver to PO boxes - a physical street address must be supplied.

Packaging Information

As an ecological and environmentally friendly online store we do our best to send your products in the most environmentally way possible. It is important we reuse what we can rather than use new resources, therefore we may redirect manufacturer packaging from waste.

All of our packaging and shipping materials are 100% recycled, recyclable or compostable. 

When packing your order we will use the following -

  • Compostable Mailers - Which can be home composted.
  • Recycled or FSC certified boxes - Packed with eco-friendly filling, including boxes or packing paper from our manufacturers. 
  • Tape - We use 100% recyclable paper tape with a natural adhesive for sealing our boxes.  

*All orders have an address label attached and International orders may have a small customs declarations attached by postal services (this is a mandatory requirement).


Online Returns

We hope you love our products, but if you are not completely satisfied, we will do our best to help you. Therefore we offer a full refund (shipping costs excluded) on new, unused items if you notify us within 14 days of receipt.

To return an item please email us at contact@northecostore.com, include your order number and the reason for returning your product. We will get back to you with details to include when returning your package. 

Terms & Conditions for All Returns

  • Items must be in saleable condition, with all packaging intact. Please take care to package all items sufficiently to avoid damage in transit.
  • Return shipping costs are paid by the customer (except with approved faulty goods). Tracked delivery is highly recommended. Please retain the receipt until you have received your refund. 
  • Note we do not accept packages sent using cash on delivery or using MyPack returns.

What happens if my item is faulty?

If you find that your item is faulty you can contact us at contact@northecostore.com. Include your name, order number, the name of the item that is faulty and include any photos or videos of the issue, so that we can assist you to the best of our ability.
